CONTEXT: Cube Loop is a surrealistic 3D Puzzle-Game, dealing with the manipulation of gravity in all axes. This indie game is a team-project by Goldkatz Studio and was created during the Game Development course for the Media and Games-Conception Master-Programme at the University of applied sciences Harz. Find your way out of the entangled cube maze by rotating the world and changing its gravity!
REALISATION: Finding a game concept with an interesting game mechanic. Using the core mechanic of world rotation to create riddles. Visualizing the riddles and the game mechanics of world rotation with sketches. Drawing concept art to define art style. Planning the production and setting milestones. Using SketchUp for first tryouts. Creating first playable prototype in Unity with all essential mechanics and features. Polishing the game and creating a decent alpha version with all details and textures according to art style.
